As a former Bosch plant, we have been part of Gotion High Tech since April 2022. With 13,000 employees worldwide, Gotion High Tech specializes in the development, production and marketing of lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems. Göttingen is thus Gotion High Tech’s first battery production and business operations site in Europe with currently around 250 employees. The Göttingen site will be the hub for all future company activities in Europe. The conversion of the current production to the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries for vehicles and storage systems is planned for 2023.
